The Port Harcourt Zonal Commander of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE Nwanneka Nwokike has assured Nigerians that the Commission would not relent in its enlightenment drives against all forms of economic and financial crimes.
He gave this assurance in Port Harcourt on Thursday, June 2, 2022 while receiving the Comptroller of Immigration, Rivers Marine Command, Onne, Francisca Dakat, who paid him a Courtesy Visit in his office.

The Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, June 2, 2022, secured the conviction of the trio of Matthew Jeff Efuwape, Sunday Oshinalke and Ajayi Babatunde Mateen before Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, Oyo State and Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel of Federal High Court sitting in Oshogbo, Osun State on one count charge each of impersonation, contrary to Section 22 (2) (b) (i) Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015.

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, June 2, 2022, visited the Kukah Center for Faith and leadership for dialogue on how the Commission can partner with the Center in preventing corruption and fraud in Nigeria.
The Chairman of the Center, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah who received the EFCC boss noted that interfaith dialogue is at the core of the Center’s work and involves actively promoting conversations among Nigeria’s faith communities, as well as between leaders in faith and public policy.
EFCC, DSS in Fresh Synergy in Gombe

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC and the Department of State Security, DSS, have come into a new synergy as a fresh move to combat the menace of economic and financial crimes.
This fresh alliance was made on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Gombe, when the Gombe Zonal Commander of the EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE Suleiman Na’abba paid a courtesy visit to the State Director, DSS, Gombe Command, Mr. Abba Abdullahi Adamu.
Na’abba presented himself as the new Gombe Zonal Commander and sought collaboration with the DSS.
EFCC Arrests Thirty-Nine Suspected Cyber-Fraudsters in Ibadan

Operatives of the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, arrested thirty-nine (39) suspected internet fraudsters in a sting operation in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The suspects who claimed to be undergraduates of different tertiary institutions in Ibadan were arrested at Apete area of the Oyo State capital, following useful intelligence on their cyber-fraudulent activities.
However, following analyses carried out on their devices, incriminating documents, and messages of their fraudulent bank transactions were recovered from thirty-four (34) of the suspects.
