As the 'Batch A Stream 1, 2020" opens on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 to members of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, across the country, the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has urged the NYSC members in Nigeria, to be whistleblowers and to join hands with the EFCC to fight against corruption and economic crimes in the country.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Sokoto Zonal Office on March 17, 2020 arrested one Yakubu Ibrahim (a.k.a. Baban Abba), his two sons, Suleman Yakubu, Ibrahim Yakubu and a friend, Kasimu Muhammad at Gidan Dare, Shiyar Gidan Sanda area of Sokoto for alleged offences of conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N4,660,000 (Four Million, Six Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira) only.

The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu today, March 17, 2020 charged Nigerian Youths to take the front row in the efforts to fight and eliminate corrupt activities in Nigeria. The EFCC boss who gave the charge in an Orientation Lecture for Corps members at the National Youth Service Corps Camp in Nonwa-Gbam, Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State, urged the youths to take more than passing interest in the affairs of their country by holding their leaders to account.
