The Managing Director of Progress Radio Gombe, Alhaji Ibrahim Biu (Dan Madamin Biu) has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC not to relent in its efforts to rid the country of corrupt practices. He made the call when he lead members of his management team to EFCC Gombe zonal office.

"We are here in order to partner with you to fight corruption in Nigeria for the interest of the public, otherwise  the country will collapse one day due to the way public funds were looted by unpatriotic citizens," he said.

Responding on behalf of the Ag. Executive Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Mustapha Magu, the zonal head of the Commission, Aminu Ado Aliyu while appreciating Biu and his team, underlined the important role of the media in the fight against corruption in Nigeria. According to him, "the medias is the ears of public concerning the EFCC activities, that is why commission in it wisdom establish a particular unit for enlightenment and reorientation in order to educate the public on the ills of corruption.

He added that, the visit came at a right time when the Ag. Chairman is doing his best to ensure the success of the fight against the corruption malaise..
