The Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday, March 24, 2022, organized a lecture on fire prevention and management for its personnel.
Zonal Commander of the EFCC in Makurdi, Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE Friday Ebelo says the essence of the lecture is to sensitize staff on the danger of fire outbreaks, both in the workplace and at home, in line with the Policy of the EFCC on Health, Safety and Environment.

The trial of one Philemon Gora, Osigwe Edison, and Gracious Environ Workers Limited & Planners Nigeria Limited, before Justice S.O. Solebo of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos for an alleged N525 million fraud, continued on Thursday, March 24, 2022 with their victim, a monarch from Osun State, His Royal Highness, Oba Jacob Esan testifying against them as the prosecution's third witness.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had on December 6, 2021 arraigned the defendants on a 10-count charge bordering on stealing, conspiracy to obtain by false witness and obtaining by false pretence.
Two Internet Fraudsters Convicted In Lagos

The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has secured the conviction and sentencing of an internet fraudster, Eruvwetaghware Hossana, before Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos.
Hosanna was arraigned on a one-count charge bordering on possession of fraudulent documents, an offence contrary to Section 320 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015, to which he pleaded guilty.
EFCC Arrests 11 Alleged Internet Fraudsters in Benin

Eleven suspected internet fraudsters were on Thursday morning arrested by operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, at their hideout in Benin City.
The suspects are Aguebor Osabuohie, Omonefe Endurance, Orome Collins, Eghaghe Etiosa, Amogie Julius, Otsu Destiny, Ehiguese Odiase, Clifford Otsu, Osagie Ohoro, John Ogbodo and Udoh Godspower.
NACIWA Observers Visit EFCC Academy

A delegation of observers to the 5th Annual General Assembly of the Network of National Anti-Corruption Institutions in West Africa, NACIWA which held in Abuja from March 21- 22, 2022 visits the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja on Wednesday March 23, 2022.
Led by members of EFCC Board, the team took a tour of the Academy and commended the EFCC Executive Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, for renovating the institution.
