Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos has adjourned the trial of Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, till February 16, 2022.
Marley is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on an 11-count charge bordering on conspiracy and credit card fraud.

Justice F. Giwa Ogunbanjo of the Federal High Court, Abuja has adjourned the fraud trial of Emmanuella Eteta Ita, Head of Stakeholders Unit of the Federal Inland Revenue Services, FIRS till January 31, 2022 and February, 2022 for a trail-within-trial to determine the voluntariness of the first defendant’s statement to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Eteta Ita is being prosecuted alongside Surestart School Ltd for allegedly conspiring with the former Coordinating Director of the FIRS, Peter Hena, to siphon money from the FIRS through Duty Tour Allowances, DTA, to the tune of over N2bn.

Justice Mahmud Abdulgafar of the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin on Monday, November 29, 2021 convicted a 29-year-old ex-convict, Joshua Ajayi Oluwatobi for impersonating the Dean Student Affairs, University of Ilorin and others to defraud unsuspecting students seeking to pay school fees and hostel accommodation.
The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 arraigned Oluwatobi on a four-count charge bordering on fraud, attempt to defraud and impersonation, to which he pleaded guilty.
EFCC Secures Seven Convictions in Ibadan, Oshogbo

The Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, November 29, 2021 secured seven convictions before different Justices of the Federal and State High Courts in Ibadan, Oyo State and Osogbo, Osun State.
The convicts are Akanji Musa Olawale (a.k.a Casey Harris), Oyetunji Habeeb Opeyemi (a.k.a lucy Stewart), Adeboye Abdulazeez Ayodeji,(a.k.a Thomas Ruchie) Agbedi Shola Peter (a.k.a Matthew Duke), Shonubi Oluwafemi Samson (a.k.a Benitadykes), Akinboade Fatai Abiodun and Sodiq Olelekan Saliman.
EFCC Arraigns Petroleum Marketer for Employment Scam

The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, November 29, 2022 arraigned one Daniel Dal before Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court, Kaduna on one count charge bordering on employment scam.
Daniel allegedly obtained the sum of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N1, 500,000) from his victim to secure a job for him with the Universal Basic Education Commission, which promise he failed to fulfil. Attempts by the victim to get a refund also failed.
