EFCC Secretary Charges Youths on Discipline, Integrity

The Secretary of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. George Abang Ekpungu has charged Nigerian youths to embrace discipline and Integrity as a way of life.
Ekpungu gave the charge today, November 24, 2021 when students of the Economics Department, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai visited the headquarters of the Commission in Jabi, Abuja on an educational tour.
Ekpungu said lack of self-discipline and integrity are the major problems bedeviling Nigeria as a nation, and urged the youths as future leaders of the nation to inculcate the good habit of discipline and integrity as a way of life.
Court Convicts 13 for Internet Fraud in Ibadan, Oshogbo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Command, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 secured thirteen convictions before different Justices of the Federal High Courts in Ibadan, Oyo State and Osogbo, Osun State.
The convicts are Akintokun Olalekan (a.k.a Natalie Bryant), Sheriff Hadinan (Molly Jane), Ayojide Ayomide Ezekiel, Rokeeb Olanrewaju Bashir (Lucy Stewart), Olutekunbi Oluwatoyin Boluwatife, Adigun Martin Oladimeji, Abraham Pelumi Ariyo, Ajagbe Abdulbasit Temitope (a.k.a James Widner).
Others are Ojelere Stephen Oladimeji, Olaleye Farudeen Abiola, Durosaro Temitope Dickson, Olubanji Remilekun Damilare(a.k.a Beth Donald) and Shogamu Lukman Olatunbosun (a.k.a Mary and Larry Wineteer).
EFCC Arraigns Man for N6.5m Property Fraud

The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday, November 22, 2021 arraigned one Aliyu Mu'azu before Justice Darius Khobo of State High Court Kaduna on a one count charge bordering on conspiracy and criminal breach of trust.
Aliyu allegedly used a non-existent court order to fraudulently sell a disputed property situated at No. 3, School Road, Hayin Na'iya NDC, Kaduna for N 6,500,000 (Six Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira only). The complainant paid for the property using a car, land and cash as contained in the agreement they collectively signed. The properties are a Peugeot 406 car valued at N 3,000,000 (Three Million Naira), a land property worth N 2,000,000 ( Two Million Naira only ) situated at Barakallahu in Kaduna, and the sum of N 1,500,000 ( One Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira).
Auto Dealer Arraigned for Fraud in Kaduna

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has arraigned one Nasiru Waziri before Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court, Kaduna on one count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust.
The defendant allegedly obtained N500, 000 in trances from the complainant for a Peugeot 307 car valued at N800, 000, while the balance was to be paid in installments. However, rather than deliver the car to the complainant upon receipt of the initial deposit of N.5m, he informed him that the vehicle had been sold. All efforts by the complainant to get a refund of his money proved abortive.
EFCC Arraigns Varsity’s Deputy Bursar for Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Kaduna Zonal Command, on Tuesday November 23 , 2021 arraigned one Ilyasu Abdulrauf Bello before Justice Darius Khobo of the State High Court, Kaduna on a one count charge bordering on receipt of gratification worth over six million naira.
Ilyasu who doubles as the Deputy Bursar, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Acting Chairman of the university’s chapter of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), allegedly took advantage of his office to siphon part of the funds in the Association's welfare account.. Investigation revealed that there were several unauthorized withdrawals which were done without the knowledge of other members of the association.
