The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has charged students to join hand with the Commission in fighting corruption for a better tomorrow.
Friday Ebelo, Zonal commander of the EFCC in Makurdi, gave the charge on Thursday, November 18, 2021 while addressing members of the Integrity Club of Baptist High School, Makurdi, on excursion to the Command.

The Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 secured the conviction and sentencing of one Ezekiel Jesse to three months imprisonment before Justice Abdul Dogo of the Federal High Court, sitting in Makurdi, Benue State for fraudulently re-directing electronic funds transfer to the tune of Seventy-Five Thousand Naira (N75, 000.00).

The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, pledged to partner with the Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna in the areas of training and cyber security.
He made the pledged when a delegation of the Institute led by the Commandant, Air Vice Marshal Musbau Olamide Olatunji paid a courtesy visit to the EFCC headquarters, Jabi, Abuja.

Seven Jailed in Ibadan for Fraudulent Impersonation

Justice Uche Agomoh of the Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 convicted seven internet fraudsters for fraudulent impersonation, an offence which contravenes section 22(2)(b)(i) and punishable under section 22(2)(b) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.)Act, 2015.
The convicts are: Jimoh Fatai Abiodun, Atewojaye Oluwadamilare Anogehna, Segun Jolaoso Mayowa a.k.a Prince Maxloun, Babatunde Segun Adeyinka, Aroyehun Mohammed, Onipede Toheed Adekunle and Opeloyeru Kehinde Abdulwaheed a.k.a Agent Collins DHHS.
