The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC wishes to inform members of the public that it has no relationship with a Non- Governmental Organization, Eagle Crime Awareness and Prevention Initiative, ECAPI
This clarification became necessary following the circulation of a sticker on the social media platform, WhatsApp by the group advertising its partnership with the EFCC and claiming it has been included in the EFCC database and now have direct access to “Information and activities of the EFCC locally and globally”. It further claimed that the Commission’s Director of Media “approved the sticker” after a meeting with the group yesterday, June 1, 2021.

The Head of the Kano Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mualledi Farouq Dogondaji today June 1, 2021 charged members of the media to sensitize the public on the ills of land fraud and other economic and financial crimes.
Dogondaji made the appeal when he received a delegation from Guarantee Radio Kano who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos.
The suspects are: Nwomkiro Ekene Jude, Olukoya Oluwadamilare Timilehin, Akingbade Mubarak Ayoboye, Adeolu Kolawole Oluwajifemi, Nwankwo Tochuckwu Michael, Kehinde Timilehin Ajibola, Adesina Deji, Olalekan Abiola, Anthony Ekene Iwuji, Emeka Metuh and Oluwasegun Pelumi.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 36 suspected internet fraudsters in some parts of Lagos State.
The suspects are: Segun Abiola, Gabriel Ebube, Amoo Tunmise, Anidugbe Mofoluwatu, Victor Enuesike, Precious Godwin, Oluwaseun Afolabi, Tolulope Amos, Jane Egonu and Precious Anizoba.
