Court Orders Final Forfeiture of Diezani’s Abuja Homes, Cars

Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon of the Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday, October 24, 2022, ordered the final forfeiture of two Abuja properties and two luxury cars belonging to a former minister of petroleum resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, to the Federal Government.
The two properties are located at Plot 1854 Mohammed Mahashir Street, and No. 6, Aso Drive, in the highbrow Asokoro and Maitama Districts of Abuja are valued at $2,674,418USD and N380, 000,000 respectively.
The luxury cars are a black BMW saloon with Chassis No B8CV54V66629 and registered number, RBC155 DH and a black Jaguar saloon car with Chassis No SAJAA.20 GRDMv43376, valued at N36,000,000.
Osun Guber Polls: EFCC Docks Four for Allegedly Bribing Voters

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Command on Monday, October 24, 2022 arraigned four persons before Justice Mathias Agboola of the State High Court, Oshogbo for alleged bribery of voters during the Osun State governorship election held on July 16, 2022.
The defendants are Adeyemo Bahiru Abiodun, Abidogun Ismail, Jimoh Kazeem and Yekini Nurudeen Abiodun
They were arrested by operatives of the EFCC at different polling Units following credible intelligence that they were inducing voters with money to vote their preferred candidate.
EFCC’s Enugu Commander Offers Support to Police Anti-Cultism Campaign

The Commander of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, ACE Oshodi Johnson has pledged to support the Nigeria Police campaign against cultism and other vices. He made the pledge on Friday, October 21, 2022 while receiving a delegation from the Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices (POCACOV) at his office in Enugu.
The leader of the visiting delegation and national co-ordinator for POCACOV, CSP Ebere Amarizu said the initiative was aimed at saving Nigerian Youths from the dangers of cultism and other vice, to ensure safe and secure communities.
He said the essence of the visit was to solicit forthe support of the EFCC as a critical stakeholder.
Karu NYSC CDS Group Unveils Anti-Corruption Poster

As part of efforts to propagate the anti-corruption message of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Anti-corruption CDS group in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state, on Friday, October 21, 2022, unveiled a signpost with anti-graft messages.
The signpost which is strategically located at the busy NYSC Local Government Secretariat Express Pedestrian pavement by the Karu Local Government junction, has the following inscriptions: “See something, Say something and Do the right thing: Act against Corruption . It also has artworks depicting the perils of indulging in cybercrimes and corrupt practices.
Court Jails Five Internet Fraudsters in Port Harcourt

Justice P. M. Ayua of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State has convicted and sentenced five internet fraudsters to various jail terms in Port Harcourt.
The convicts: Godwin Egwenike Ifeanyi, Donatus Peter Uche, Peculia Ikechukwu, Chibueke Aguta Basil and Gift Kalu were jailed for impersonation and obtaining money by false pretence contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006.
They were convicted on Thursday, 20 October, 2022, after pleading "guilty" to separate charges preferred against them by the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the EFCC.
