EFCC Arrests Nine Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Enugu

Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested nine suspected internet fraudsters.
They were arrested on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Transekulu and Monarch areas of Enugu, Enugu State.
The suspects are: Chukwu Chidiebube Emmanuel, Ebuka Owoh Bonaventure, Stephen Obinna Chukwu, Victor Chimere Opuniju, Justice Ifeanyichukwu Anunobi, Ugwumba Eloka Charles, Okeke ifeanyi Victor, Nduka Ononiwu and Obasi Chisom.
EFCC Arrests Five for Suspected Currency Counterfeiting in Abuja.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested five suspects for alleged currency counterfeiting, totalling $113,400( One Hundred and Thirteen Thousand, Four hundred United States Dollars).
The suspects: Sule Sani, Abba Sulaiman, Abraham Amengwa James, Haruna Nahum Rabiu and Samson Koadam Paul, were arrested at Wuse Zone 4, Abuja , following actionable intelligence available to the Commission.
EFCC, Fire Service Parley on Fire Prevention

The Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is set to partner with the Federal Fire Service Zone E, Akwa Ibom State, to train officers of the Command on fire prevention and safety.
Both agencies reached this conclusion on Thursday, September 15, 2022 when the newly- posted Commander of the Federal Fire Service, Assistant Controller General, ACG Philip Abang Odu, paid a Courtesy Visit to the Uyo Zonal Commander of the EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE Bawa Hamidu Saidu in his office.
While welcoming Odu and his team to the Command, Bawa noted that being safety conscious prevents a lot of mishaps and officers can only discharge their duties when they are alive and safe. “Safety is very vital and it's the duty of everyone to keep everybody safe, at least, we have to be safe to be able to discharge our duties or do anything at all”, he said.
EFCC Arrests Siblings, 14 others for Suspected Internet Fraud in Ilorin

Operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Command of the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested sixteen persons over an alleged case of cybercrime and possession of fraudulent funds in Ilorin.
They were arrested on Thursday, September 15, 2022 following credible intelligence worked upon by the Commission.
The suspects, including two siblings: Ahmed Ismail and Toheeb Ismail, are: Suleiman Abduqudrib Salati, Nurudeen Ibrahim, Boluwasefe Oyinloye, Bashir Azeez, Abduquodri Ibrahim, Raji Roqeeb, Tobiloba Raihan, Busari Mohammed.
Police Restates Commitment to EFCC

The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Ahmed Ammani , has restated the commitment of the police to continue to collaborate and support the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in the pursuit of its mandate.
He stated this on Thursday, September 15, 2022 while receiving the Enugu Zonal Commander of the EFCC, Assistant Commander of the EFCC, ACE Johnson Oshodi who paid him a Courtesy Visit. According to him , the Police is proud of the EFCC and would continue to help the Commission in tackling economic and financial crimes.
“It is our pride as police officers that those whom we have trained are performing their functions well. We will always render help in any way we can , to see that the EFCC continues to perform its mandate”, he said.
