EFCC Arraigns Jonathan-Omo for N105m Amnesty Fraud

The Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, May 25, 2023, arraigned one Ngozi Jonathan-Omo, managing director of Zeenel Concepts, before Justice B.O. Quadri of the Federal High Court sitting in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State on one count charge of conspiracy and diversion of public funds to the tune of N105, 000.000.
The offence is contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offence Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (13) of the same Act.

Popular Tiktok Musician, 31 Others Arrested for Alleged Internet Fraud in Kaduna

Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested a popular musician on Tiktok, one Crown Uzama (aka ShalliPopi) and his manager, Ajayi Abdul Hafeez(aka 21 Badda) for alleged internet-related fraud.
They were arrested alongside 29 other suspects, including four females: Glory Chinyere Kelvin Ogunwa l, Tina Ochonogor, Favour Baba Dawa and Joseph Judith Iya.

EFCC Inaugurates Zero Tolerance Club in Uniport, Two More Integrity Clubs in Makurdi

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Command, on Thursday, May 25, 2023 inaugurated a Zero Tolerance Club at the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, charged students of the institutions to imbibe the core values of the Club which are integrity, discipline and honesty; and shun all forms of corruption.
Bawa who was represented by ACE I Ahmed. M. Ghali, Commander, Port Harcourt Zonal Command charged the students to stay away from internet fraud activities.

DSS’ Siege on Our Lagos Office Shocking - EFCC

The operatives of the Lagos Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrived at their office on No. 15 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, this morning, May 30, 2023, to be denied entry by agents of the Department of State Services, DSS, who had barricaded the entrance with armoured personnel carriers.
This development is strange to the Commission given that we have cohabited with the DSS in that facility for 20 years without incident.

Anti-graft War: Northern CSOs Commends EFCC

The coalition of civil society organizations from the Northwest have commended the achievements of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in the fight against corruption and other economic and financial crimes.
The CSOs gave the commendation on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, during an interactive session with the Commander of the Kano Zonal Command of the Commission, Farouq Dogondaji.
